Dynamic QR codes · pay once
Print it once, pay for it once
LimeQR makes dynamic QR codes and short links paid once: change the destination after printing and keep a static fallback, an alternative to QR Code Generator Pro and Bitly.
Put your own domain in your codes and keep a static copy of each one: your prints don't depend on us, or on a monthly fee.
LimeQR is one of 7 apps you pay for once. Get all of them: $49 once.
Codes that don't depend on us,or on a subscription
Change the destination later
Your QR code points at a short link. Edit where it goes any time: the next scan follows, no reprint.
Your own domain in the code
Connect go.yourbrand.com and your QR codes carry it. If you ever leave, point that domain elsewhere and the prints follow.
A static copy, always
Every code page also gives you a static QR that points straight at your URL. It works without LimeQR.
No cap on scans
Past your plan's tracked scans for the month, codes keep redirecting. Only the counting pauses.
Your colors, your logo
Code and background colors, rounded or dot modules, a logo in the middle and a frame with a call to action.
SVG and PNG
Download for print as SVG, or as PNG at 1024 or 2048 px.
Scans without tracking people
Scans per day, country and device type. Daily totals only: no IP address is stored, bots are not counted.
Bulk from a spreadsheet
Paste or upload a CSV and get all the codes at once, with a ZIP of the QR files.
The math,no fine print
QR Code Generator Pro Advanced costs $227.88 a year on yearly billing (their pricing page, checked October 10, 2026). LimeQR costs $19, once. We're not everything QR Code Generator Pro is, so here's what we don't do:
- Team accounts
- A public API
- UTM builder or retargeting pixels
- Hosting your files or PDFs

Will this disappear?
Fair question for a one-time product. Here is what you can check, and what we commit to.
30 days' notice
If we ever shut an app down, you get at least 30 days' notice by email and can export your data.
Read the termsQuestions
What does one-time mean?
You pay once and use LimeQR for as long as we operate it, with updates. If we ever shut it down, you get 30 days' notice and an export of your codes and destinations.
What happens to my printed codes if LimeQR stops?
Codes on our short domain go through us, so they depend on us. Two ways out: connect your own domain (your codes carry go.yourbrand.com, and you can point it elsewhere any time), or print the static QR every code page gives you, which encodes your URL directly. You can also export all your codes and destinations as a CSV at any time.
Do other QR code services switch codes off when you stop paying?
Policies differ, so read your provider's terms before printing. Two examples, both from the vendors' own pricing pages (checked October 10, 2026): Uniqode says "If you decide to cancel your subscription, your QR Codes will become inactive." (uniqode.com/pricing), and QR TIGER says dynamic codes are "valid only for that period of time" and "will only stop working once the plan expires." (qrcode-tiger.com/payment). LimeQR is paid once: there is no subscription to cancel, and your codes keep redirecting past any scan count.
How does a custom domain work?
You add a CNAME record pointing your subdomain at us and a TXT record proving you control it, then click Check. Solo includes 1 custom domain, Pro 5. Your codes keep working on our short domain too.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, in full.
What are the limits?
Solo: 100 codes, 1 custom domain and 10,000 tracked scans per month. Pro: 1,000 codes, 5 custom domains and 100,000 tracked scans per month. Above the tracked scans, codes keep redirecting; only the counting pauses until the next month.
What do you do against phishing?
Only paying accounts can create links, destinations are checked against a blocklist when they are saved, and anyone can report a link. Links that break the rules are disabled.
